ImageEmmanuel College Radio is proud to announce that tonight, Saturday October 20th at 8 PM, we will be broadcasting live from Wellesley College at Classical Jam’s live performance. Committed to presenting high-caliber performances to diverse audiences, Classical Jam (CJ) is a vibrant ensemble comprised of flute, violin, viola, cello and percussion. Classical Jam has garnered the attention from distinguished artist series and educational programs throughout the country including the Lincoln Center Meet The Artist Series, Caramoor Music Festival, and Strathmore Music Center. In 2009, CJ received the Cary Trust Fund for Contemporary Music Projects and a grant from the Puffin Foundation. An mp3 of this great local live performance, as well as audio recordings of our recent “Mystery Radio Theater” series will be available starting tomorrow under a new “Archive” section on the website. For more information, visit http://www.classicaljam.org/.

In other news, all regularly scheduled programming between now and Monday, October 22nd will be suspended due to a problem with accessing EC Radio’s studio in St. Joe’s Basement. We apologize for the inconvenience that this will cause our regular listeners, and will update you as soon as regular programming will resume. If you were scheduled to broadcast this weekend and are unable to, please contact Joe Horgan at horganj@emmanuel.edu to find a different time to broadcast this week if you are interested in rescheduling this week’s episode of your show.

Thank you, and enjoy your weekend!
